From working in several fast paced tech startups to traveling around the world from New Zealand to the Faroe Islands as a photographer, my adventures have taught me how to be adaptable - a crucial skill in the design world. My adaptability has allowed me to navigate the challenges of working in new environments and collaborating with others including cross functional teams.
After working on teams focused on creating mobile app experiences for several years, my interest in UX design grew deeper. From building an AR/AI Interior Design app to digitising the biggest ski resorts in Switzerland - these experiences were eye opening, because they allowed me to witness the impact that digital experiences could have on people and industries.
My passion for UX design is grounded in a fascination for how people think and act across cultures and languages, enriched by years of living abroad in Switzerland. This fascination has guided me towards an empathetic approach to my design thinking, where understanding user needs is at the heart of everything I do.
When I’m not behind my computer creating, you can find me climbing a mountain or traveling the world. I take photos like it’s going out of style, a passion of mine which has allowed me to work with some of the biggest brands in the world including Google, Maserati, Volvo, Twitter, LG, Cónde Nast, Gap, Vice and many more. I’ve traveled to over 30 countries and every continent (well except Antarctica, but that’s next on the list) and love sharing my travel stories with others.
I’m currently looking for new opportunities, check out my resume.
